Current Openings

Staff Accountant

Equiscript is seeking a skilled, energetic staff accountant to support the operations of the company. This person will be responsible for maintaining the finances of the company in a manner that allows for efficient cash management and sound decision-making by management. Among other things listed in more detail below, the staff accountant will prepare financial reports on the company and 12+ client pharmacy programs on a monthly basis.

Under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, duties are expected to include but may not be limited to:

  • Company financials: perform journal entries, process invoices for payment, reconcile bank accounts, perform monthly close procedures, prepare financial statements and perform ad hoc research for management and outside tax preparation firm.
  • Client pharmacy programs: prepare basic financial statements and packages to be sent to each client on monthly basis, perform monthly reconciliations of accounts, invoiced amounts and collections.
  • Maintain relationship with drug wholesaler personnel and reconcile invoiced drug purchases to contracted purchase prices.
  • Gain familiarity with pharmacy claims process and assist with the development of pricing models.
  • Assist CFO with semi-monthly payroll process, including withholding for and funding of retirement and other benefits.
  • Prepare the annual financial budget and assess operating results including analysis of budget to actual results.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as requested, including ad hoc reporting and analysis and evaluation of internal controls.
  • Perform various analytical projects in order to identify opportunities for additional revenues or savings.

Preferred Experience and Skills

Required:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with particular focus on Microsoft Excel.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Quickbooks Pro.
  • Understanding of GAAP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Preferred:

  • At least 2-4 years of previous accounting, finance, and budgeting work experience.
  • Prior experience in pharmacy or other healthcare accounting a plus (please mention in cover letter).

Inside Sales Manager

Equiscript is seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team sales to successful completion of its goals.  Our Inside Sales representatives contact and enroll qualified patients via outbound calling and order fulfillment for our home delivery pharmacy program.   The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced salesperson and sales manager with knowledge of the healthcare industry.

This position will be responsible for hiring and training staff, developing effective sales strategies, working with Equiscript partner companies, and driving Salesforce workflow designs. This will be a metrics-driven position, with performance measured by patient enrollments, actual shipments, and business growth.  These objectives can only be achieved through integrity, operational excellence, team motivation, and patient care focus. The Inside Sales Manager must be eager to use his or her skills in a way that serves our patients, and helps local communities.

Essential Functions

  • Develop high-energy outbound calling sales culture that ensures client, patient & staff satisfaction.
  • Drive accurate and timely initial order fulfillment.
  • Hire and train inside sales representatives.
  • Provide regular and consistent coaching, feedback, and development to Inside Sales representatives.
  • Develop sales team members as professionals, building their ability to effectively deal with patients and business partners.
  • Continually improve sales processes.
  • Demonstrate a professional, personable demeanor in order to build team camaraderie and develop external business relationships.
  • Support customer care including follow-up calls to patients as needed or as escalated from the floor. Close sales escalated from the floor.  Resolve patient concerns.
  • Document and communicate best practices.
  • Communicate policies & procedures to ensure consistency in our service delivery model.
  • Develop training programs and ongoing education systems as needed.
  • Review lost patients to identify areas of improvement.
  • Provide for adequate staff coverage of daily center operations based on call arrival patterns and outbound call success rates.
  • Work with Client Relationship Manager and Program Efficiency Specialist to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients and pharmacy partners as needed to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com workflows for call center personnel.
  • Monitor team performance to ensure that the sales goals and company objectives are exceeded.

  • Minimum 16 ships of qualified new enrollments per month per sales agent
  • Minimum 5 enrollments per day per sales agent
  • Maintain 80 percent staffing level within your team
  • New patients shipped within an average of 21 days of enrollment
  • Enrolled patient retention greater than 97% per month
  • Averaged shipped patient value (formulary drugs) at or above the 6-month rolling average
  • Adequate staffing maintained to meet all client commitments as expressed in 340Blueprints – our client specific business plans.

Inside Sales Professional

Equiscript, LLC is looking for Inside Sales Professionals that can effectively enroll patients by communicating the value of the Equiscript program and its benefits to our clients’ patients.  This is a sales job.

The ability to read a script is not enough! We are looking for people that want to use their natural sales and influence skills, knowledge and personality to engage patients and educate them about a service that can help ensure they have the medications they need to stay healthy.  The successful Patient Sales Professional will maximize opportunities by taking responsibility for the relationship with the patient through consistent, effective follow-ups.  Just as no two people are alike, no two conversations with patients will be alike.  The Patient Sales Professional will integrate their training in the program and the healthcare industry in general to ensure that patients fully understand the opportunity that the program provides without needing scripted answers.  The Patient Sales Professional will drive the patient enrollment through all steps to ensure that the patient’s prescriptions are received and the medications are shipped by the pharmacy.  The patient depends on you, and you know that the sale isn’t complete until the medications ship!

Most of the patients that we call have multiple prescriptions (more than 8 in most instances) that they are picking up from multiple pharmacies. It will be your job to introduce this program to the patient, explain how it will help simplify their life, and to make them comfortable transitioning their prescriptions to the home delivery pharmacy associated with the facility where they receive their medical care.

Why this is (and is not!) a sales role all at the same time.

We’ve found the word “sales” has different meanings to different people, so here is what this position is and is not.

The goal of the Inside Sales Professional is to contact patients, explain the Equiscript program and convince the patients that it will be to their benefit to move their prescriptions from their current pharmacy to their physician’s home delivery pharmacy. They are already having the medications filled; you must be able to effectively explain to them why they should have them filled at their physician’s pharmacy, instead of their current pharmacy.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Good relationship building and sales abilities

Required Hours: This position requires the availability to work from 9AM-6PM three weekdays/week and 11AM-7PM the other two and requires availability every third Saturday from 9AM-1PM.
