Patient Service Specialist

Equiscript, LLC is seeking a professional who is passionate about providing excellent patient care to join our team as a Patient Service Specialist.

Patient Service Specialist

The Patient Service Specialist will work under the supervision of the Patient Experience Manager to provide exemplary service to patients who have enrolled in our home delivery pharmacy program.

You will be responsible for serving as the liaison for our patients – calling patients to communicate information about medications, refills, service timeframes and other important updates in a manner that is caring, compassionate, clearly-articulated, and efficient.  You will be our patients’ primary point of contact with our service, so patient focus, and a caring, professional approach are important.

You must be personable, professional, strategic, and caring.  A background that involves patient care (CNA, RNA, LPN, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Assistant, etc.) is highly desired.

The right candidate for this position will help our company differentiate itself from other pharmacy service providers by providing a level of superior service that people never knew they could even expect from their pharmacy.

 

Key activities include:

  • Serves as a primary point of contact and support for our patients – ensuring that they receive proper, timely care, and that they understand the benefit of a service-oriented pharmacy provider.
  • Makes welcome calls to newly-enrolled patients, letting them know what to expect
  • Sends welcome packet to newly-enrolled patients.
  • Contacts patients, as needed, to advise of timing expectations for initial shipment.
  • Conducts refill calls for non-diabetic patients, as assigned.
  • Contacts patients on Lost and At Risk lists, to resolve patients’ concerns and try to re-enroll them in the program.
  • Contacts patients after they have received their first shipment to ensure that they had a good experience, and that their expectations were met.  Addresses any issues that are raised on these calls.
  • Communicates filling and shipping instructions to partner pharmacies using Equiscript workflows, often in Salesforce.com. (Salesforce.com experience helpful, but not required).
  • Handles inbound calls from patients.

 

Professional Qualities:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accurate documentation in patient and client accounts
  • Must be able to demonstrate patience and empathy when dealing with patients
  • A practical understanding of medical terminology and medications is highly desired.  Must be able to pronounce medical terms, including drug names, and communicate drug and medication information appropriately.

Preferred Experience:

Marketing and Account Coordinator

Equiscript, LLC is seeking an organized, creative professional to join our growing team as a Marketing and Account Coordinator.

Marketing and Account Coordinator

The Marketing and Account Coordinator will assist both the patient sales and client relations teams to help create consistent branding and marketing materials, and to facilitate increased levels of partnership with our existing clients.

This is a new role for Equiscript, and you will be responsible for using your creative and organizational skills to help build our Client Relations team while also supporting our marketing and branding efforts.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, smart, focused, dependable, customer-focused, and innovative.  We want someone who can write and edit a marketing masterpiece, and then switch gears to arrange a client visit, collaborating to finalize presentation materials, schedule, and itinerary.

This will require a motivated person, who is interested in learning more about marketing and sales, who wants to build a career with a growing, dynamic company.

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Supports the Director of Inside Sales and Marketing:
    • Assists with development of marketing and collateral plans
    • Writes, proofreads, and helps design collateral and presentations
    • Manages content on company websites
    • Manages distribution of email and text message marketing campaigns, as assigned, through Salesforce.com
    • Serves as a liaison for outside marketing and PR agencies and contractors
    • Tracks and reports on department expenditures, expense reports, and budgets
    • Helps to ensure consistency of branding
    • Assists with development and distribution of press releases and media materials
    • Prepares responses to inquiries from media and public
  • Supports the Director of Client Relations:
    • Helps coordinate on-site client visits as assigned
    • Prepares marketing and presentation materials as needed for client meetings
    • Tracks and reports on department expenditures, expense reports, and budgets
    • Arranges for marketing and presentation materials to be available for meetings, as instructed by the Client Relations team
    • Updates client and prospect information in Salesforce.com, as assigned
    • Handles incoming calls from Clients, directing them to the most efficient, effective solution

SQL Developer

Equiscript, LLC is seeking a highly organized, motivated professional to join our team as a SQL Developer.

SQL Developer

The chosen candidate will work closely with team members to import and model data from our hospital and health center clients.  Using SQL Server 2012, you will be responsible for automation of data uploads, ensuring that data flows into our Salesforce.com instance accurately, and assessing client opportunities as reflected in their patient data. This position plays an integral part of our overall development. We are looking for energetic applicants with a strong desire to work efficiently and produce accurate, rapid results.

Duties:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy solutions based on SQL Server 2012
  • Collaborate closely with team members during new client implementations to ensure that data is complete and accurate
  • Assist in the development of process documentation
  • Help to redesign the current database to make it more scalable for the growing demands of our company

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration with a 3.5 GPA or higher

Preferred Experience:

  • At least 5 years experience with SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012 and Microsoft.NET.
  • Experience with SSIS, SSRS and Salesforce.com a plus
  • Healthcare Experience is a plus

Pharmacy Technician

Equiscript, LLC is seeking a highly organized, motivated professional to join our team as a Pharmacy Technician.

Pharmacy Technician

The Pharmacy Technician will work under the supervision of the Program Efficiency Specialist to provide support for patients who have newly enrolled in our program.  You will be responsible for collaborating with our sales team, health care provider clients, and our partner pharmacies to ensure patients’ prescriptions are filled in a timely manner and that patient service expectations are exceeded.  This involves monitoring patients’ progress, communicating with the parties involved, and keeping patients informed of updates.

The Pharmacy Technician will play an important role in building our programmatic efficiencies and in building relationships with our patients.

This position involves working with patients over the phone.  You must be focused, personable, detail oriented, and strategic.  You must be passionate about providing excellent patient care.

Key activities include:

  • Monitoring outstanding patients to ensure that their prescriptions are processed, filled, and delivered prior to need-by dates
  • Communicating updates and program expectations to patients
  • Helping patients understand the importance of medication adherence, and noting patients who aren’t adherent, so that we can notify their medical team
  • Providing exemplary patient service and care
  • Working as part of a team to achieve company goals
  • Working with Salesforce.com (Salesforce experience helpful, but not required)
  • Working with the Program Efficiency Specialist to ensure that all prescription requests have been sent to our pharmacies in a timely manner, tracking those that have not and removing process barriers.
  • Addressing client concerns, problem solving, and process improvement initiatives
  • Providing clear, timely patient support so that we can enroll patients and keep them happy

Professional Qualities:

The successful candidate for this position will be efficient, proactive, personable and willing to perform a wide variety of tasks.

  • Must have computer aptitude, and be able to work comfortably in a web-based system that uses extensive reporting to identify service risks for resolution

Preferred Experience:

  • 2-3 Years medical practice or pharmacy experience, or certified Pharmacy Technician with customer service experience
  • Practical understanding of medical terminology and medications
  • Saleforce.com experience and knowledge is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
