We understand the amount of information being released about the virus and pandemic is overwhelming. It's our hope to provide a concise source for current and helpful information and resources for healthcare organizations affected by COVID-19. This page will be updated periodically as new information is released.
Updates:
On April 10, HRSA announced that it “is allowing some entities, upon request and review, to immediately enroll into the 340B Program.” Organizations seeking to enroll in the 340B program are being instructed to contact the 340B Prime Vendor at 1-888-340-2787 or apexusanswers@340bpvp.com.
The FCC is now accepting applications for the COVID-19 Telehealth Program. FCC says, "The COVID-19 Telehealth Program will provide $200 million in funding, appropriated by Congress as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, to help health care providers provide connected care services to patients at their homes or mobile locations in response to the novel Coronavirus 2019 disease (COVID-19) pandemic." The funding will cover telecommunication services, information services, and the devices necessary until funds are no longer available or until the pandemic ends. Submit your application here.

These are changing and unprecedented times, and while we are all trying to serve patients and stay ahead of needs, challenges and trends, there are a few things that we, at Equiscript have noticed:
There is a larger demand for home delivery of medications than ever before. With patients quarantined and many states under stay-at-home orders, this is no surprise.
With patients cutting back on preventative and maintenance appointments, revenue generated through your 340B program savings is critically important, and more needed than ever before.
Staff reductions and overburdened staff can impact your 340B revenue if they can’t get prescriptions sent to your 340B pharmacies in a timely manner. We'd like to show you how your team can be utilized to protect your current revenue stream, and even secure more revenue over the coming months.
We see a unique opportunity to help you stabilize your current revenue, help patients, and even increase revenue during these uncertain times.
Your Equiscript home delivery pharmacy program team has prepared a business plan for you with specifics on how you can safely get patients the medication delivery they need, and how you may be able to redirect underutilized or remote staff members to support a program that can generate much-needed new revenue for your organization.
Please reach out to your Equiscript contact if you have questions about any of the information listed above.
