Expanding our Cause to improve access to healthcare in the communities we serve.
For many parts of the world, access to affordable healthcare is out of reach, or it is something that is reserved for only the very wealthy. At Equiscript, we are firm believers in the Community Healthcare model; so in 2016, when we had a chance to partner with OneWorld Health to bring affordable, sustainable healthcare to developing countries around the world, we jumped at the chance.
Our commitment to OneWorld Health includes company and individual contributions to support OneWorld Health, and each year Equiscript provides financial support for a OneWorld Health medical mission. Employees of Equiscript clients are encouraged to volunteer for the mission Equiscript supports.
Through this commitment, we have developed a love for the people of Tola Nicaragua, and great admiration for OneWorld Health and for our clients who volunteered their time and talents in support of the mission to create and provide sustainable, affordable community-based healthcare in these communities.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on travel and person-to-person contact, we have decided to postpone the next trip. We do not have a new date at this time; however, we will update this page with new information and dates when we get them.
