Today we enjoyed some sweet treats in the office as we raised money for Camp Joy Belize with a silent auction and bake sale fundraiser! Camp Joy Belize is a ministry of Living Waters Fellowship Church, Belize and East Lake Community Church of South Carolina, USA. We believe that all people are made in the image of God and are therefore important and special in His sight regardless of mental and physical ability. As a result of that belief, Camp Joy ministers to those who have intellectual disabilities. Campers must be at least 13 years old and have self-help skills. Camp Joy has a one-to-one camper/counselor ratio. The Camp Joy staff is experienced in working with individuals with a wide variety of ages and abilities.
