Site Champions play a significant role in the success of Equiscript home delivery pharmacy programs across the country. They serve as the primary point of contact between the Equiscript team, providers, and patients. Site Champions are super-organized, super-involved superstars who carry out the tasks necessary to make a successful pharmacy program.
AltaMed started as a free clinic over fifty years ago in the East Los Angeles area. Now, with thirty-nine sites, they serve more than 300,000 people in Los Angeles and Orange County. “I love that I work for a company that has such a great mission of wanting to make a difference in the community and always puts the patient first. I also love that my job allows me to work directly with other healthcare professionals to provide the best team-based approach,” said Jasmine.
Jasmine is part of AltaMed’s Pharmacy Renewal Team, a team that works closely with Equiscript to ensure success and efficiency. Jasmine said, “It’s great knowing that I am contributing to this service [The Equiscript Program] for our patients, which really increases their medication adherence.”
