Site Champions play a very important role in the success of Equiscript home delivery pharmacy programs across the country. Site Champions are chosen by the leadership at their health centers as a point of contact between the Equiscript team, providers, and patients. They are super-organized, super-involved superstars who carry out the tasks necessary to make a successful program.
For Jaunel, being a Site Champion means, "making medication delivery an efficient process for patients." She says, "working with Equiscript has been a learning process" and she suggests other Site Champions set aside a little time each week to focus on medication refills to help streamline their processes.
Equiscript’s Account Manager for Heritage Health, Nick O'Connor says, "Jaunel has a heart for her patients and always reaches out to Equiscript with any questions about her patients to ensure timely service and delivery." Heritage Health has a large population of elderly, disabled, and rural patients and Jaunel says that the Equiscript program "is valuable for those patients to achieve consistent medication compliance."
